Halva with saffron
Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 cup whole milk
½ cup sugar
1 cup oil
50 gr unsalted butter
2 teaspoons cardamom powder
1 cup rose water
Ravang saffron
How to cook
Before we begin, we can add two ice cubes to the saffron for its better color. While the ice is melting, heat the flour gently. Stir the flour constantly and when it turns golden, sieve the flour. Add oil and butter to the flour and stir again to have a smooth paste.
Bring sugar and milk to a boil in a saucepan and add rose water, cardamom, and Ravang saffron while stirring constantly. Continue stirring while you are adding the flour. Whisk slowly until Halva can be easily removed from the pan.
Your halva with milk and Ravang saffron is ready to eat.
